The street teaches you the intimacy you need while documenting people. The stare of a face, a graphic moment of texture and composition, visible suddenly in a split second, is the ultimate gift a photographer can be given. This selection of images is also a documentation of the times we live in. The images chosen here reflect an elusive mood which is spiritual, tragic and at times silently angry. All of us have these little moments with us. A feeling of ownership, draws me to my subjects. Once on film it goes away, the next task begins. So like the spinning wheel of a thread maker I will continue collecting these images until the poem is complete.
